Pocatello street department to take core sampling

POCATELLO — The City of Pocatello Street Operations Department will be doing core sampling at the intersection of Hawthorne Road and Quinn Road Monday. Work will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until approximately 1 p.m.
Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic in the area. Motorists should expect delays. City officials are strongly advised to use alternate routes when possible and to avoid travel in the area.
The city appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation. Crews will finish the work as quickly as possible. In the event of bad weather or unforeseen problems, the work may need to be rescheduled.
