Report: Jeremy Maclin Headed to Kansas City
Published at(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) — Andy Reid has wooed one of his former first-round picks to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jeremy Maclin will agree to a contract with Kansas City once free agency begins Tuesday, according to ESPN.
While with the Eagles, Reid selected Maclin with the 19th pick in the 2009 NFL draft.
Maclin missed all of the 2013 season with a torn ACL. He bounced back for a career season under Chip Kelly last year as he caught 85 passes for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns.
To clear cap space for the move, the Chiefs have restructured the contract of defensive end Tamba Hali and are expected to release wide receiver Dwayne Bowe.
