ITV reports the Serbian government has warned people to knock it off.

Hundreds of thousands of unregistered weapons were stashed after the wars in the 1990s, but between now and June 4, the government is urging people to hand in their firearms under an amnesty program; they face five years in prison for non-compliance.

However, the government fears many might take the easy way out when it comes to more dangerous items.

“The ministry…appeals on citizens not to dispose of hand grenades and explosive ordnance in garbage containers and such places,” the missive reads. “[T]hey should instead call the nearest police station and officers will arrive as soon as possible to take the ordinance away.”
