Asiana Airlines Flight Skids off Runway in Japan
Published at(HIROSHIMA, Japan) — An Asiana Airlines flight from South Korea skidded off the runway upon landing in Hiroshima, Japan, the airline says.
When the flight, which had 73 passengers and eight crew on board, landed at about 8 p.m. local time, the plane skidded. Eighteen passengers reported minor injuries and were treated accordingly, Asiana said.
The other passengers were able to get off the plane and leave the airport safely.
Two Americans were reportedly on board the plane. It was not clear if they were among the injured.
