Ron Newt claims he once met Howard at the Four Seasons hotel and they talked about Ron’s documentary, Bigger than Big. According to Newt, Terrence liked the film, and said he wanted to play him in a project.

However, when Empire debuted Ron noticed many similarities, he claims.  For example, in Empire, four drug dealers were killed, and in Bigger than Big four drug dealers were killed, the lawsuit states. He also cites several other alleged similarities between his documentary and the television series.

Newt seeks a billion dollars — that’s billion with a “b.”
