“Furious 7” Takes Box Office Top Spot Again
Published at(NEW YORK) — Furious 7 ran away with the box office against this weekend, outgaining its nearest competitor by over $40 million.
The seventh iteration of the popular Fast and Furious franchise made another $60 million this weekend, bringing its total gross to over $252 million. New release The Longest Ride, based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, opened in third place.
Furious 7 set an April debut record last weekend by bringing in $147 million.
