Jordan Spieth Leads After First Round at The Masters

Spieth’s only blemish on the day was a bogey on 15. The 21-year-old finished the first round with nine birdies.

Jason Day, Charley Hoffman, Justin Rose and Ernie Els sit in second place at five under, three strokes back of Spieth.

Tiger Woods, playing in his first competitive tournament since he withdrew at Torrey Pines on Feb. 5 after 11 holes, finished the day with a 73. The 14-time major champion had three birdies and four bogeys.
