IDAHO FALLS — A pirate ship arrived at the Museum of Idaho Monday to herald in the museum’s newest exhibition.

“Real Pirates,” features a 33-foot pirate ship from Butte County High School in Arco that is on loan to the museum. This exhibit showcases over 200 actual artifacts, which provide visitors with an unprecedented glimpse into 18th century piracy.

East Idaho New’s Mark Richardson watched the ship come into the museum and has more in the clip above.

The exhibit opened to the public Monday. Admission to the museum is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $8 for youth or $30 for families. The Museum of Idaho is open Monday and Tuesday from 9:00am – 8:00pm, Wednesday thru Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm, and closed on Sunday.
