Amazon Offers Free Shipping on Small Items Without Minimum Order

iStock Editorial/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — The next time you need to order a small item from Amazon, you may be able to get it to ship for free without having to spend at least $35.
The online retail giant has unveiled a new program, called “Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Small and Light,” that offers free four- to eight-day delivery on thousands of small items it sells.
To qualify, the items must weigh 8 ounces or less, measure 9x6x2 inches or less, and cost under $10.
FBA Small and Light is available to all customers. Previously, free shipping was only for Amazon prime customers and those with orders over $35.
