Janet Jackson Accepts Ultimate Icon Prize, Diddy Falls at BET Awards

She was honored with the Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award ahead of her new album and tour coming later this year. With her mom and dad present, she said, “It’s been a very long moment to this journey…my heart is so full.”

Diddy made headlines by falling during a performance celebrating Bad Boy Records’ 20-year anniversary that featured Lil Kim, Mase, Faith Evans, 112 and The Lox.

As for the winners, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown took multiple honors.
