Pinterest to Allow Users to Buy from App

iStock Editorial/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Pinned something you liked on Pinterest? Well soon, you’ll be able to buy it straight from the app.
In a blog post Tuesday, Pinterest announced it will be rolling out “buyable pins” in a few weeks, allowing users to purchase millions of products instantly.
The new feature will let users buy items by clicking on a blue “Buy It” button. Pinners will also be able to use a price filter to get the best deal and test how different colors look on the product.
Once they’re ready to make a purchase, they can pay with Apple Pay or a credit card.
Buyable pins will be available in the U.S. on Pinterest’s iOS app in a few weeks. Later on, they will available on the Android app and desktop site.
