Book Share Program Launches at Pocatello Airport

POCATELLO – Traveling out of Pocatello Regional Airport just got a little more fun thanks to some free entertainment.

Travelers can now pick up a free book to read courtesy of the airport’s new, Take-a-Book/Leave-a-Book Center.

“You don’t have to bring in a book to take one,” says Pocatello Regional Airport Manager David Allen. “This book sharing center is just one of the ways we’re making flying out of Pocatello as stress-free as possible.”

The idea for the program was developed by the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce Air Service Committee and the center was stocked with its first round of books by the Friends of the Marshall Public Library.

“This is the first of several new amenities the Committee has developed. These amenities will improve the experience for some passengers and even those who do not use the amenities will see them and receive the message that flying from Pocatello is a great experience and the best choice,” Allen said.

Donations for the Take-a-Book/Leave-a-Book Center can be made at the Airport Administration Office.
