CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Reporter confronts woman accused of stealing his identity

  Published at

DALLAS — A Texas television reporter recently discovered his identity had been stolen so he tracked down the woman suspected of the crime. She was surprised to see him arrive at the door of the hotel room she allegedly paid for using his credit card number.

Steve Noviello, a consumer reporter for Fox 4 in Dallas, received an alert from Visa that someone was attempting to use his credit card number to pay for a hotel room at a nearby Hilton Garden Inn.

Noviello reports he called the Hilton and asked if anyone had tried to check in using his name. When that didn’t turn up any leads, he had hotel employees run a check to see if his credit card number was connected to a specific room.

That’s when he learned a woman named Farah Parks had used a credit card with her name — but bearing his number — to check into room 239.

Check out what happened when he confronted the woman and what she had to say about allegedly stealing his information.
