New York Mets Pitcher Suspended
Published at | Updated at(NEW YORK) — New York Mets pitcher Jenrry Mejia has been suspended without pay for 162 games, according to a press release from Major League Baseball (MLB).
Mejia tested positive for Stanozolol and Boldenone, which are both performance-enhancing drugs.
This is Mejia’s second suspension this season. He was suspended for 80 games in April for the same violation.
Mejia’s suspension is effective immediately.
