Two Idaho Falls women arrested for robbery, burglary
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — Idaho Falls Police arrested Christine Hinckley, 26, and Philicia Ellingford, 24, following a residential robbery on July 29.
The Idaho Falls women were charged with two counts of robbery and one count of burglary. Hinckley also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, Bonneville County Jail officials said.
Police reports show officers responded to the 1300 block of Garfield around 10:15 a.m. for a report of a robbery that had occurred around 4:30 a.m.
Hinckley, whom the victims knew, knocked on the door of the residence and pushed past the victims when they opened the door.
Ellingford and three men came into the residence shortly after Hinckley.
Hinckley, who had a hand taser, told one of the victims he owed her money. She and Ellingford proceeded to take a television, a Dell computer tower, an X-box and other electronics from the residence. All stolen items were valued about $2,500, police officials said.
Police arrived at Hinckley’s residence after the report was made, and found drug paraphernalia, including marijuana pipes and digital scales, at her residence, police spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen said.
The three men have yet to be identified, and police are still investigating this case.
Hinckley and Ellingsworth are currently in custody and have court arraignments scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on July 30.
