Chicago Cubs’ Jake Arrieta Throws No-Hitter Against Dodgers

Arrieta threw a no-hitter for the Chicago Cubs, winning 2-0 against the Los Angeles Dodgers Sunday night. It marks his first career no-hitter and the sixth for Major League Baseball this season.
The Cubs pitcher struck out 12 and walked one for 116 pitches in nine innings.
It’s the first no-hitter for the Cubs since 2008, pitched by Carlos Zambrano, and the fourteenth no-hitter in Cubs history.
