Fan Dies After Falling During Braves and Yankees Game at Turner Field

According to ESPN, the victim fell from the upper deck of Turner Field during the top of the seventh inning.

On Sunday, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office identified the man as 60-year-old Gregory K. Murrey from Alpharetta, Georgia.

The game continued as paramedics assisted the fallen fan.

Atlanta police told ABC News they are investigating the reason for the fall and the “circumstances of the wall.”

On Sunday, the Atlanta Braves tweeted a new statement regarding the death of Gregory K. Murrey.

“The Atlanta Braves are deeply saddened by the loss of Greg Murrey at last night’s game. Greg was a valued and longtime season ticket holder and an incredibly passionate Braves fan. This tragic loss is felt throughout Braves Country, and the thoughts and prayers of the entire Braves organization continue to go out to his family and friends.”
