Saturday night in Rio, UFC star Ronda Rousey (12-0) defeated Brazilian challenger Bethe Correia (9-1) in their bantamweight title fight during UFC 190 in 34 seconds. Correia was knocked out cold by a right hand.

“I’m prepared to deal with anything,” said Rousey. “That’s why I’m the champ.”

The former U.S. Olympian in judo continues to cement her legend status in the UFC and currently holds the UFC record for fastest finish in a title fight, at 14 seconds.

Her nickname, “Rowdy,” comes from “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, who passed away on Friday.

“We lost a close friend,” Rousey told ESPN. “‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper gave me permission to use his name. I hope he had a good time watching this today.”
