Glenn Close and Husband David Shaw Divorce

Lloyd Bishop/NBC(LOS ANGELES) — Glenn Close and David Shaw have divorced after nine years of marriage.
The divorce was amicable, a spokesperson for Close told People magazine.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star and Shaw, a venture capitalist, married in February 2006 in Maine, where they lived together for the better part of a decade.
This was Close’s third marriage. She was married to Cabot Wade in the late 1960s and James Marlas in the 1980s. Close and Shaw didn’t have any kids, but the actress shares a daughter, Annie, with former boyfriend John Starke.
Earlier this week, Close announced she would be starring in a London run of Sunset Boulevard, taking on the role of Norma Desmond. This isn’t Close’s first time starring in the musical: she won a Tony Award in 1995 for playing the same role on Broadway.
