Mayor Rebecca Casper explains 3 percent tax hike
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — Residents in Idaho Falls are facing a 3 percent tax increase if the upcoming 2015-16 fiscal budget ordinance is adopted by the Idaho Falls City Council.
A public hearing on the budget proposal is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3. in the City Council Chambers at the City Annex Building at 680 Park Ave.
The final budget ordinance is scheduled to be adopted at a City Council work session at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8 in Council Chambers.
