Justin Egbert is running for Rexburg City Council.
Politics run in Egbert’s family — his grandfather was prominent in the State Legislature for nearly 30 years.
In an interview with Mark Richardson, Egbert said he has no negative feelings toward the sitting council. He just wanted to add his skills to help the city continue to progress.
Egbert, who had been in banking for years and works at the cashier’s office at BYU-Idaho, says his background of finance and understanding of planning and zoning give him an insight in helping make the city attractive for families and to help businesses thrive.
