Clinton and Sanders are front runners at tonight’s national Democratic presidential debate

  Published at

(CNN) — All eyes will be on Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, the two leading Democratic candidates, at Tuesday’s CNN Democratic presidential debate. This will be their first meeting as opposing candidate and there are a few similarities in their styles.

The former secretary of state is the veteran debater with no less than 25 debates under her belt. But Sanders has plenty of debate experience himself (at least 19).

What can we expect from them Tuesday night?

Both have proven themselves as tough debaters, more than standing their ground in an assortment of debate formats.

Also: there’s humor. Clinton and Sanders may often be seen as serious candidates, but both have both let our their fair share of hearty laughs and “berns” respectively.

There’s also plenty of contrasts on delivery, but the only thing that matters is which style ends up delivering the votes.
