PHOTOS: Hillcrest wins girl’s soccer tournament in OT

REXBURG – The Hillcrest Knights girl’s soccer team scored 10 seconds in overtime to defeat Madison 2-1 in the district tournament.

Madison scored first early in the match with Allison Rigby breaking away for an easy score. Hillcrest did not score until there was less than five minutes left to tie the score.

In overtime Hillcrest got the ball first and as Madison’s keeper came out of the net to secure the ball, Hillcrest’s Katry Redd fired the ball into the open net for the win.
