POLICE: Pocatello man rolls vehicle, arrested for DUI

POCATELLO — Charles Cairns was arrested Tuesday Oct. 6, for a felony driving-under-the-influence after he rolled his vehicle on Philbin Road.
Pocatello Police responded to reports of single vehicle crash on Philbin Road around 4:50 p.m. Spokeswoman Diane Brush said upon arriving at the scene officers found the Cairns had rolled his vehicle two and a half times.
Cairns, 34, told police he had drifted off the road and refused to take a breathalyzer test. He was transported to Portneuf Medical Center, where a court ordered blood draw was taken. Hospital officials said he was treated and released. The results of the test are still pending.
The Pocatello man was arrested for felony DUI, driving without a license and failing to provide insurance. He was booked into the Bannock County Jail, with no bond set.
Cairns will appear in court on Wednesday, Oct 7.
