Nichole Weight feels it is time for some younger blood on the City Council.
She feels she has the qualifications to help unify the community and bridge the differences between the generations.
Weight has been active in the community as she has served with the local PTO as well as on the community review board, worked to raise money for the city library and been a part of the festival of trees.
Being able to listen to both sides of an issue is what Weight feels is one of her strong points, helping her to be well informed before making a decision.
Weight is concerned that sometimes the council forgets to ask for input from and listen to the citizens when making decisions and she will work to get the community more involved.
