IDAHO FALLS – Would you give money to a trust fund if you had no idea where the cash was going?

That’s the question Z103 morning hosts Brad and Tara asked listeners a week ago.

The duo established The Brad and Tara Trust Fund asking for donations of $1 or $5. Donors weren’t told what the money was for until the drive the was over. The DJ’s simply asked folks to trust them.

Nearly $500 was donated to the fund and Monday morning Brad and Tara announced the money would be going to Kayden Emery and his mother.

A family member accidentally ran over Kayden with a riding lawnmower in July. His foot was amputated and his leg was severely injured. Since the accident, doctors have been impressed with Kayden’s remarkable recovery.

“We know that people want to make a difference,” Brad told EastIdahoNews.com. “We know that people who think like us want to help out and want to trust their fellow men.”

Brad and Tara said they may do another trust fund in the future.
