Report: Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard Feuding on “Empire” Set

Chuck Hodes/FOX(LOS ANGELES) — As Empire continues to dominate the Wednesday night ratings, is there trouble on the set between stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard?
InTouch Weekly reports that there is tension between the two actors who previously appeared together inHustle & Flow. “It’s gotten so bad that Taraji can’t be on set for more than 30 seconds without staring daggers at him,” a source claims. The insider continues, “She’s irritated by the pompous, bigheaded braggart that Terrence has become.”
Howard stars in Empire as music mogul Lucious Lyons, and Henson portrays his former wife, Cookie Lyons, who is determined to take over business while he serves a prison sentence. “In the beginning, Taraji was the key supporter and apologist for his behavior,” says the source. “But as his arrogance increased, she began to get annoyed.”
Henson’s publicist denies there is a rift between the stars, saying they “are the best of friends and professional colleagues…always.”
