2-Year-Old Amputee Adopts 3-Legged Kitten

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Scarlette Tipton is a fighter. At just ten-months-old this brave little girl was diagnosed with cancer.
Scarlette’s rare condition caused her left arm to swell up and, in an effort to save her, it had to be amputated.
On Christmas eve, the Tipton family rushed to an animal shelter after hearing about an amputee kitten on local news. They decided to adopt the perfect companion for their daughter.
Three-month-old “Doc” lost her front paw after creeping under the hood of a car to keep warm. Vets were able to save her life but her leg had to be removed.
Scarlette, now two-years-old, has found a kindred sprit in her new pet.
