Bannock County Courthouse bomb threat suspect arrested

POCATELLO — The Bannock County Sheriff’s Office reports they have arrested a man who allegedly phoned in bomb threats against the county courthouse on Jan. 21.

Jail officers tell EastIdahoNews.com Kristopher Allen Wrede turned himself in on a felony warrant and was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

He is being held in the Bannock County Detention Center.

Wrede is charged with felony false reporting of explosives in a private or public place. His bond is set at $25,000.

The bomb threat incident occurred in the early afternoon on Jan. 21. The courthouse, and several county buildings were evacuated and employees sent home for the day.
