IDAHO FALLS — Customers were evacuated from the Panda Express on South Utah Ave. on Sunday after witnesses say smoke started coming from the vents inside the restaurant.

Two Idaho Falls fire engines and four ambulances responded to the scene at about 1:45 p.m.

Idaho Falls Fire Department Battalion Chief Cody Anderson tells EastIdahoNews.com “a motor in the HVAC system burnt up and filled the building with smoke.”

EastIdahoNews.com has a crew on scene and will update with details as they become available.
