Woman swerves into oncoming lane, crashes through fence into ditch

IDAHO FAllS — One woman was rushed to the hospital after an evening traffic accident.
The Bingham County Sheriff Office, Idaho State Police and emergency medical person responded to a one vehicle accident off the south bound lane on Interstate 15 near mile marker 111.
“The driver of the vehicle was travel north bound, when at some point crossed the median in the southbound lane,” Neil Stevens, Idaho State Police Trooper, told EastIdahoNews.com “After crossing the south bound lane the vehicle came to a stop within a irrigation ditch.”
Officers say there weren’t other cars in the oncoming lane at the time of the accident. The vehicle also crashed through a fence before it came to a stop.
The driver of the vehicle, who has not been identified at this time, was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center with no life threatening injuries.
