Police searching for man who robbed pharmacy at gunpoint

The following is a news release from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office

AMMON — The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed a Walgreen’s pharmacy at gunpoint early this morning.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Walgreen’s at Ammon Road and 17th Street at 2:28 a.m. Dispatch advised officers that a robbery of the pharmacy had just occurred.

Staff told police that a male adult entered the store, went to the pharmacy, jumped the counter, pointed a gun at the pharmacist and demanded medications.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’ 8” tall. He was wearing a black hoodie with a yellow reflective safety vest over the top, blue jeans and a blue construction type hard hat on. His face was covered with a light colored fabric. He was wearing dark colored glasses.
