Idaho Falls couple arrested for drug trafficking

IDAHO FALLS — A man and woman were arrested early April 5 for drug trafficking.
Brett D. Murdock, 42, and Valerie J. Murdock, 43, of Idaho Falls were stopped by a Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office deputy around 12:15 a.m. on Sunnyside Rd. near the I-15 exit.
The deputy became suspicious of the Murdock’s behavior and called a K-9 officer from the Idaho Falls Police Department arrived to assist.
Investigators say the dog indicated that illegal drugs were inside the vehicle and approximately 4 pounds of marijuana was located in the trunk.
Both Valerie and Brett were arrested and booked into the Bonneville County Jail for drug trafficking.
