Idaho Falls man arrested, accused of raping vulnerable adult in 2015

IDAHO FALLS — A 56-year-old man is behind bars for allegedly raping a vulnerable adult, who he was acquainted with.
Raymond T. Deleon, of Idaho Falls, was arrested on Friday and was booked into Bonneville County Jail on a felony rape charge and a felony abuse, exploit, neglect of a vulnerable adult charged.
Police reports show Deleon raped a 27‐year‐old woman at a residence in the 900 block of Payne Avenue. The rape was reported to police by the victim in July 2015.
Police spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen said police arrested Deleon at his place of work on Friday.
Deleon is held in the Bonneville County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
