Idaho Falls man killed in rollover crash near Moreland

MORELAND — An Idaho Falls man died in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 26 westbound at milepost 297, west of Moreland.

The crash occurred around 8 a.m. Thursday, according to an Idaho State Police news release.

James L. Barry, 33, of Idaho Falls, was driving westbound on the highway in a 2007 Dodge R1500 Pickup. ISP said Barry drove off the roadway, overcorrected and rolled onto the shoulder.

Barry was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, where he died.
