Traffic delays on I-15 after driver crashes into guard rail

UPDATE 7:15 p.m. – The wreck has been cleared and traffic is moving at regular speeds.
IDAHO FALLS — Northbound traffic on Interstate 15 at milepost 114 is currently backed up for several miles due to a one car crash.
Witnesses say the accident happened around 6:00 p.m. when the driver of a blue Toyota Corolla apparently hit a guardrail head-on and then continued into the median.
Paramedics responded to the scene. It’s unknown if the driver was injured.
Emergency crews are currently directing traffic and remind drivers it is illegal and dangerous to cross over the median into oncoming traffic.
