Truck smashes into Rexburg building while man picks up pizza

REXBURG — A truck crashed into a building Friday night after the driver got out and accidentally left the vehicle in reverse.
The accident happened around 9:00 p.m. at Quick Ship N’ Copy on 1st South.
Rexburg Police Captain Randy Lewis tells EastIdahoNews.com the driver, a Brigham Young University-Idaho student from Oregon, stopped to pick up a pizza at Little Caesars.
“He exited his truck but inadvertently left it in reverse,” Lewis says. “The truck took off through the parking lot and crashed into Quick Ship N’ Copy next door.”
Nobody was injured and the truck was removed from the building late Friday night.
