Deputies investigating after mailboxes are smashed in Jefferson County
Published at | Updated atRIGBY — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after approximately two dozen residential mailboxes were smashed this week.
The vandalism occurred on the 4000 block of East 100 North and East 200 North street on both Sunday and Monday night.
Jefferson County Detective Sam Tower tells EastIdahoNews.com it appears the vandals used a thin metal pipe to bash the mailboxes. The incidents are under investigation and no suspects have been identified.
Victims of mailbox vandalism are asked to report the crimes to the Jefferson County Sherriff’s Office.
