IDAHO FALLS — Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office detectives have identified three teens who were involved in accidentally starting a fire at the Evans Grain/Old Sugar Factory on April 27.

Bonneville County Sheriff Sgt. Bryan Lovell said the males were 14 and 15 years old and the female was 10 years old. All were from the Idaho Falls-area.

The juveniles had been playing with a lighter in the area that resulted in the building catching fire, according to a news release.

Crews has the fire under control in nearly 40 minutes and remained on scene until the blaze was completely put out. The building was abandoned and was a complete loss.

This case has been sent to the Bonneville County Prosecutor’s Office for review to determine if any charges will be filed.
