Kimberly man killed after semi rolls down embankment
Published at | Updated atSMITHFIELD — A Kimberly man is dead following a crash involving the semi truck he was driving.
Salvador Lemus-Tellez, 57, was killed when the semi truck he was driving drifted off the road and rolled down an embankment, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 29 on westbound SR-218 near milepost 4 west of Smithfield.
UHP says the truck had a tanker that was fully loaded with an agricultural product, possibly whey.
UHP continues to investigate the crash.
