IDAHO FALLS — A local homeschool group has rehearsed countless hours to bring the community “As You Like It,” a comical Shakespearean play.

“These youth that are in the play have been studying Shakespeare, they’ve started in the fall. (It’s taken) lots of hard work, patience, time and dedication,” said publicity coordinator Torrie Miller.

Each year the students of iFamily Leadership Academy perform an annual play composed by William Shakespeare.

The kids’ who perform the range form ages 12 to 16.

“Memorizing the complicated language of Shakespeare is hard,” Miller said.

Director Cosette Stevens said students go to great lengths to understand the Bard in depth.

“They get a better grasp of who Shakespeare is. They are able to understand his words and works,” Stevens said.

She said the community can expect lots of laughs and a high-quality performance.

“It’s a comedy, so the kids are really funny in it. It’s hilarious,” Miller said.
