AMMON – A 34-year-old Ammon man has been charged in connection with two separate armed robberies at Walgreens stores.

Kyle R. Gneiting was arrested Tuesday, April 19 and charged in connection with a robbery that occurred at the Ammon Walgreens on 17th Street last October.

Now Gneiting is facing another felony armed robbery charge in relation to a Walgreens robbery that took place March 31.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Walgreen’s at Ammon Road and 17th Street at 2:28 a.m. on March 31. Dispatch advised officers that a robbery of the pharmacy had just occurred. Staff told police that a male adult entered the store, went to the pharmacy, jumped the counter, pointed a gun at the pharmacist and demanded medications.

In addition to the robbery charge, Gneiting also is facing a felony weapon enhancement charge in relation to the March robbery.

Gneiting remains in the Bonneville County Jail on a $150,000 bond. He is due back in court later this month for a preliminary hearing.
