Ammon Splash Zone opens this afternoon

AMMON — The Ammon “Splash Zone” officially opens to the public today at 3 p.m.
The splash pad is adjacent to the City of Ammon swimming pool and in McCowin Park, located at 3000 Southwick Lane in Ammon.
Rockwell Homes donated $25,000 to help with the building of the pad, which is free to the public.
The pad was supposed to open last week but construction delays forced city leaders to push the grand opening back.
The facility will be open every day throughout the summer into fall until the weather turns cold.
