IDAHO FALLS – An Idaho Falls man was arrested on multiple charges after he was found to have stolen property at Dad’s Truck Stop, the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office said.

On Saturday around 11:30 a.m., deputies were called to the Dad’s Truck Stop on N. Yellowstone Hwy at 25th East for a suspicious man going through items in a pickup truck. They made contact with Darren L. Mullins, 50, and found he had “multiple items of stolen property,” including tools, a checkbook, and other personal items that had been reported stolen, according to a news release Monday. Deputies also found a container with about 12 grams of methamphetamine.

Mullins was arrested and booked into the Bonneville County Jail on three felony charges: grand theft, possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.
