POCATELLO — A 22-year-old man was arrested twice this weekend in two separate situations.

Steven Pongah, of Pocatello, first had contact with police on Saturday, June 18 just after 5 a.m. when a gas station clerk reported that a man was passed out in a running vehicle on the 3200 block of Poleline Road.

Police say the victim used an app to locate his phone, that information was forwarded to police who responded to a home on the 2200 block of Clinton St. Police called the phone which could be heard ringing with in the home. Police knocked on the door and made contact once again Pongah. The stolen cell phone and other electronics were found in the home.

Pongah was arrested and booked again in the Bannock County Detention Center on a charge of felony burglary.

According to court records, Pongah pleaded guilty to two felony burglary charges last month stemming from incidents in 2013 and 2015. He is due in court for sentencing on those later this month.
