POCATELLO — A 29-year-old woman was arrested Saturday on an excessive driving under the influence charge after police say crashed her car into a parked vehicle.

Catrina Darcy was taken into custody on the 400 block of Mckinley Ave. where the accident happened around 8:10 p.m.

“She was exhibiting slurred speech, red eyes and officers could smell intoxicating substances on her,” Pocatello Police spokeswoman Dianne Brush tells EastIdahoNews.com.

Officers administered a breath test and results showed Darcy had “life-threatening alcohol levels,” according to Brush.

Darcy was taken to the hospital before being admitted to the Bannock County Jail.
