Car crashes through Idaho Falls home

IDAHO FALLS — A car crashed through the rear of a home on the 1200 block of 17th Street near Baskin Robbins Friday evening.

Witnesses say the blue Toyota Corolla went through a fence into the back of the home around 6:00 p.m.

Numerous police officers responded to the accident and were on scene as of 6:45 p.m.

Idaho Falls Fire Battalion Chief Cody Anderson tells EastIdahoNews.com there were two occupants in the car. Both were treated for minor injuries on the scene.

Firefighters are making sure the utilities are secure and evaluating the structure of the home.
