ASHTON

Parade and fireworks

When: July 4
Where: Ashton Main Street & City Park
Schedule:

  • 7:30 to 9 a.m. – Rotary Breakfast in City Park, $6/person
  • 10 a.m. – Parade down Main Street
  • 2 p.m. After Parade in City Park–Flag Ceremony, Car Show, Booths, Entertainment until
  • 10 p.m. – Fireworks at NFHS Soccer Field

BLACKFOOT

Celebrate Blackfoot

July 1 events

  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Fish & Game, Free Fishing Day at Jensen Grove
  • 11 a.m. to 2 p.m – Blackfoot Swimming Pool, free swim
  • Noon to 5 p.m. – Bingham County Historical Museum, free tours
  • Noon to 5 p.m. – Idaho Potato Museum, free tours

July 2 events

  • All day – Free kids’ zone with bouncy houses, petting zoo and more
  • All day – Climbing wall from Idaho National Guard
  • 8 to 10 a.m. – Free Airplane Rides, Blackfoot Airport (pre-register)
  • 9 a.m. – Vendor fair opens
  • 9 a.m. – Celebrate Blackfoot Freedom Parade, Airport Road from Highway 91 to Jensen Grove
  • 10 a.m. – Throughout the day: BHS Senior High School Games: T-shirt sales, chalk art competition, water sales
  • 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Static airplane display, Blackfoot Airport
  • 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Classic car and motorcycle show
  • 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Tractor show, Jensen Grove
  • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Family carnival, Petting Zoo
  • 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Free Potato Feed (shelter)
  • Noon – Ceremonial flag raising with music program
  • 2 to 9 p.m. – Free stage entertainment, amphitheater
  • 7 to 7:30 p.m. – Ping Pong Ball Drop
  • 10 p.m. – Bingham Memorial Hospital Liberty Celebration (fireworks show)

July 4 events

  • No parade.
  • Flag ceremony at 7 p.m. at Jensen Grove.
  • Ranch Rodeo at Eastern Idaho State Fairgrounds:
    • 8 a.m. – Long go
    • 3 p.m. – Indian Relays
    • 4:30 p.m. – Veterans memorial fundraiser dinner
    • 6 p.m. – Rodeo finals

DRIGGS

Teton Valley Balloon Rally

Treaty Day Fireworks Show

When: July 3 at 9:50 p.m.
Where: Fort Hall Rodeo Arena

July 4 events

  • 7:15 a.m. – Idaho Falls FireKracker 5k Fun Run, Tautphaus Park.
  • 9 a.m – Fourth of July Parade. Parade Route (Fourth Street/Boulevard). This year’s theme: “Salute to American Heroes”
  • 9 a.m. Idaho Falls Artisans Market. Corner of Broadway & Memorial.
  • Noon to 10 p.m. – Liberty Festival on the Falls, Memorial Drive
  • 6 p.m. – Idaho Falls Chukars baseball game, Melaleuca Field
  • 10 p.m. The Melaleuca Freedom Celebration & Firework Display, Idaho Falls River Walk (greenbelt)

LAVA HOT SPRINGS

Independence Day Fireworks
