UPDATE: Some 900 residents still without power

Rocky Mountain Power officials says they have restored power to the majority of those affected.
Approximately 953 customers remain without power, it is estimated to be completely restored around 4:30 p.m.
They have a crew on site and repairs are underway for what they are calling an equipment problem.

REXBURG — A technical glitch at the Rexburg substation has caused a power outage for several thousand people in Rexburg.
About 2,778 customers are currently without power in the Rexburg area, said Dave Eskelson, Rocky Mountain Power spokesman.
Rocky Mountain Power says a crew has been dispatched. Power is estimated to be restored near 12:20 p.m..
