Explosives found in Pocatello Garage

POCATELLO — Dynamite found in a Pocatello garage has closed down Highway 30 and traffic has been rerouted to Philbin Road.
Around 3 p.m., a person called the Pocatello Police Department and told them that a relative had found dynamite in a garage. Police closed down the area and evacuated the surrounding homes as a safety measure. A bomb disposal team has been requested from Idaho Falls to come and detonate the explosives. An incident command post has been set up near Highway 30 and Philbin Road.
